The Boat House

The Boat House is a 3-bedroom, luxurious self-catering home located on Rothiemurchus. The house is family (and dog) friendly. Each bedroom has a different look and feel. All have exceptionally comfortable, super king-sized beds handmade in Scotland by a specialist craftsman with luxurious cotton sheets, super soft pillows and duvets as well as en suite bathrooms with underfloor heating.
One of the bedrooms is on the wheelchair-accessible ground floor with an adjoining wheelchair-accessible wet room.
As well as being fully insulated and double glazed, central heating, underfloor heating, and efficient log burning stoves ensure you will be super cosy on chilly evenings and the frostiest days and eco-friendly by using the minimum fuel. For romantic and cosy winter nights there is a log-burning stove in The Milton Burn bedroom upstairs.
The Boat House is well connected with fast WiFi throughout.
The dining area opens onto a southeast-facing paved area. This is surrounded by a generous fenced grassy area for dogs and small children. If you are lucky, in the field on the other side of the fence you may well see some hairy Highland Cattle with their huge horns from the Rothiemurchus purebred fold; if you are very very fortunate their adorable calves as well.
